My Story
Hello, I'm Anna!​
I’ve been playing netball since I was seven and it’s been a constant part of my life- for the sport itself and the community around it.​
​
​Over the years, I’ve captained teams, acted as treasurer and organised leagues. Each role showed me how much work goes on behind the scenes just to get people on court.
​
And yet... I can't seem to play enough! Outside of my weekly leagues, I realised that finding casual games is far harder than it needs to be.​
The idea

​NetsPlay grew from my own experience of trying to find more opportunities to play netball and realising many women wanted the same​.
​
Weekly commitment, organising teams, chasing numbers and losing money on missed games can all get in the way of playing. NetsPlay will remove those barriers, so netball fits around your life.
​
​The idea is simple: flexible, well-run games with no long-term commitment. Just turn up, play and enjoy being part of a like-minded community.
​
Behind the scenes, my background in member relations, communications and event delivery will help ensure every game feels organised, welcoming and worth coming back to.​​​
